Thank you so much! It worked!!!! :D

I'm a little worried to leave that off all the time since it gave me warnings about it. Would it be better to leave it on most of the time and then when I need to use FTP, turn it off?

Thank you for you help! Yeah!

Have a firewall but I turned those ports on. Still didn't work. Don't have the XP update yet. Trying to figure out where else to look for the ports to be locked out. Any ideas?

No, it doesn't. iPowerweb checked everything on my server and they could get an FTP to work. How do I make sure my computer is not blocking port 20 & 21? That's one thing they said to make sure about.

They have me hostXXipowerweb.com. I looked it up on the server and port 21 is supposed to be used for FTP.
I doubt very seriously the server is down, too. I've requested them check things out on their end but I don't know...

I got the host name from iPowerweb themselves and it STILL doesn't work! Do I need to add something BEFORE the host name? I am VERY frustrated!

I hate to ask this but can you explain what I'm supposed to enter by line? I'm really not computer illiterate but I'm feeling like it now! :? I just want to be sure I'm completing everything EXACTLY how it needs to be.

Were you able to get it to work?

Thanks again for your help!

Cannot establish connection (XP firewall)

I have tried to establish a connection and cannot do it. I even did the test one that you recommended in another post. Cannot connect. The error I get is 122-5. I assume that's an error message.

This is very frustrating! Please help! I really need to use this ASAP!

Thanks!
