Trouble setting up SFTP

Post by Beef Grande »

I am trying to set up a SFTP server using the free download. Should the assigned port in the domain properties be 22? When I put that in the settings and then start the service, it gives me error " The socket binding to local port failed." Do I need to have one of the check boxes for either SSH/SFTP or FTPS/SSL direct checked in order for that to work; or change the port to 21?

Finally got it to work. Set the domain IP to "localhost" and chose a port # above 6000 for it to listen to, then checked the box for SFTP. Connected using FileZilla from outside network the first time.

I am having trouble with ignition. I have no power from key in starting position. I have also lost power to light under hood, truck release, and lights to HVAC/Radio, etc. Other things work OK such as power windows, power seats, and lights on speedometer cluster.I have checked fuses and relays, but cant find problem. Anyone with suggestions?
