Hi,
I just purchased this software for our company and am trying to migrate our IIS based FTP server accounts into this software.
We create our passwords to be complex (e.g. LC&dx4nf-%) and IIS does not have a problem setting and maintaining these, but Core's appears to dislike certain characters.
there are 246 accounts to migrate, if I can't have Core check the server for "Local" NT accounts thereby working around this problem, is there some way I can have my scripts create passwords like this in the Core software?
I need to change these passwords every 30 days, the values will always be random; the local account solution would probably be easiest for us.
Any Ideas?
Issues with Complex Passwords
an example of the error when I try to create an account with a complex pass:
coresrvr.exe -adduser sftp.contuso.com ftpjoebloeinc LC&dx4nf-% e:\ftpjoebloeinc
'\dx4nf-%' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.
it also eventually crashes the server when you try to create multiple accounts that return this error.
