Remote Site Error

Post by mdemoss777 »

I have been using WSFTP for a couple of years and now have to change to a new ftp client. I really like coreftp, but am having a problem setting it up.

When I put the remote site of 'da.fmshrp' for the Remote Start Folder it will come back with an error of 550 No Data Set Found. If I take out that entry and put the command CWD 'da.fmshrp' under Post login commands it works. My remote site will always start up.

I also can not just type in 'da.fmshrp' on the remote side.

Thoughts on what I am doing wrong?

THANKS!!

I tried that. Plus every combo I could think of. Without the quotes, periods, etc.

If I put '.da.fmshrp.' in the Remote Start Up Folder, the result is 'DAPECMW.'/ which is the username.

Thanks.

The Server Type is Auto. I tried MVS, but still got the same errors. (In WSFTP we selected IBM/MVS)

Below is the error log I get. Thought it might help. What I find strange is, if you type in the command CWD 'da.fmshrp' at Post Login commands it will take you to the correct directory. Strange...

At the end I will get a pop up that asks if I want to try the directory listing in the opposite mode. Doesn't matter what I choose it still will not go to the correct directory listing.
