Why Can I No Longer Upload My Files?

Hi! Up until three days ago Core FTP lite worked beautifully. Then it mysteriously stopped uploading my files to my website. I contacted my host and they informed me, "I was able to connect and upload and
download files with any problem so the server I know is operating
correctly."

So then I came here and read some of the helpful suggestions that have been posted in the past. I turned off my firewall, but I still wasn't able to upload. I turned of the PASV and that didn't help either.

What in the heck is going on?

Thanks for your suggestions. I went up one directory and down one directory and I discovered that I am able to post just fine. I checked with my host and the recs directory is there. I do need to upload to the recs page/directory. Why wouldn't I be able to do that?
