Hi!
I just tried Core FTP 1.2 Lite because it claimed to have bandwidth control. So, I tried changing the recv and send sizes to 35000 (approx 35KB/s) and later altered the values (both) to 1000. Core FTP still however was using my entire bandwidth (64KB/s), independent of how the recv and send fields were set (connected to ftp.sunet.se, downloading RedHat's most recent Linux distribution).
Hence I uninstalled the FTP client since bandwidth control was the main reason for installing it.
I will consider installing a bug fixed version when one exists or when you have proven that it is all my fault

Bandwidth control bug
Still BandWidth problem
Bandwidth seems not working in CoreFTPlite build 1200.
I use it with XP Pro UK workstation
download works good: but no way to limit bandwidth used
Thank you,

One test
I try to download from ftp://ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/sof ... j664en.exe
I put in Options/Connections/CPS Settings: 100000
(I'll doubleck, It's not a million)
Download time estimated with 512Kb leased line: about 25mn.
After 5mn, 11,5Mo was downloaded and bandwidth use is 57Ko/s
(456Kb / 512Kb max)
Do you think I miss something ?
Thank you for any help,
Laurent.
