I need to do a line command for a GET to download a z/OS dataset.
I have tried GET 'WEL.XXX.YYY.ZZZ' windowsfile.txt which seems like it is the right command.
CORE sends the GET command to z/OS as if the whole line from "WEL to .txt as the MVS filename. I get an error saying use MVS datset naming conventions. If I just enter GET 'WEL.XXX.YYY.ZZZ' z/OS transfers the file but I do not know where it is put (probably sends to the ether).
Has anyone done this?
