Prohiited Filename after connection failure

Hi,

On uploading a number of files in a batch, and having the connection hang for some reason unknow to me (happens often), I find the CoreFTP re-connects of it's own accord, and finished the upload batch - excellent.

However, there are files left on the ftp server that I cannot remove, nor rename in the format

.pureftpd-upload.434d955f.15.5a8.eba3b990

What are they and how do I get rid of them? Any attempt to do anything with them, results in a 'prohibited filename' error.

Can anyone advise me on the please.
