Okay, I have been using the lite version of core and liked it. Then I began to have problems that drove me absolutely nutty. In one case I even contacted the hosting provider and talked to them about it and they said it wasn't their server. Here is the problem:

As it appears after countless uploades(all apparantly successful.

It just dropped that line. Over and over and over again. I even modified the code a little to try and break it up. No luck. So I replaced it with two <hr /> and a welcome message(since it was the title part of the page) and that works but is entirely unacceptable.
I updated to the latest version as well and it still made no differance.
Any thoughts would be helpful.
