I'm a new user and find CoreFTP LE to be exacly what I need however I'm confused about editing remote (text-based) files. The Options, help file & faq seem to imply that there is some sort of automatic update of edited files on the remote server when the file is saved on the local machine after alterations are made - where am I supposed to save it?
I don't seem to get this working, am I misunderstanding the process? I can open a file from the remote server and edit it in my default editor locally by choosing edit in CoreFTP. I can then save it locally using my editor's save function and _manually_ transfer it back to the remote using CoreFTP, overwriting the original file. What am I missing?
