strange problem trying to connect

I am having a strange problem trying to connect. I have never had this problem before. But now I am getting this...

can't establish connection --> home.alltel.net/xxxxxxxxx:21 @ Thu Jan 19 10:26:00 2006 (11004-100)
The requested name is valid and was found in the database, but it does not have the correct associated data being resolved for.

I have talked to my ISP andthey are checking things on there end. They have not found any problems on there end yet.

I am running Windows XP and Kapersky firewall but Core FTP is allowed in the firewall settings.

Does anyone have any Idea?

Is 'home.alltel.net/xxxxxxxxx' the hostname?

Take out the '/xxxxxxxxx' part if it is. Resolving it might not work and cause that error.

it did not like the "/".

I had tried it without the "xxxxxxxxx" that was actually my username. I still had the "/" there and had the same problem.

But taking the "/" out worked!
