Ok, maybe I'm just a total n00b (I am new to Core but still) but I cannot get the Logon banner to work for me.
During testing I simply entered "Test Logon" to verify I was seeing the banner and all was well.
Well now that we're about to go live to clients I wanted to include a .txt file as the banner with the usual legal "shtuff". I have a banner.txt in the home directory and have the path in the Logon Message field but when I connect to the server it now shows the PATH to the banner.txt file.
I've tried putting the banner into a users folder (since they are all locked into their respective folder) but that doesn't work either.
Nor does encapsulating the path in quotes (") since there is a space in the pathname.
Copying the contents of the file doesn't work since there are line breaks in the file and the "path" only shows the first line you copied as the message.
Can this not be done? If not why is there a "..." option to select a .txt file?
