Moving COREFTP license keys

How do I move COREFTP licenses from 1 server to another? I had an issue with a server and had to reinstall the COREFTP software on another server. When I tried to use the existing key, it said my key is already in use.

You'll need to uninstall from the computer that your license is installed on.

It is possible that the license was not removed during uninstall. If this happens, install the software again, and then uninstall it (by right clicking on the Core FTP Server "uninstall" program in Start -> Core FTP Server, and select "run as administrator").

After this you should be able to install the license on the new computer.

Hi I tried the uninstall procedures and am still not able to use the license keys on the new server. It tells me that 'License in use or Max number of installs reached. Please contact COREFTP Sales.

Another thing to try:

Install Core FTP Server
Start up Core FTP Server
Go into the system menu (upper left icon).
Global Options -> Register -> remove license

Uninstalling still results in the same License exceeded message. I've contacted COREFTP Sales to request new license keys but no one has contacted me back. It's probably best if CORE SALES got rid of my license keys and sent me new keys. The current keys aren't working anyway.
