Session remiains after completing transfer?

Post by criddel »

Hello,
New to this and a little confused. I have a schedule set up to transfer a large file offsite twice a day. Midday and evening.
It looks as though everything goes ok and the file timestamp on the remote server is correct for the evening transfer but when I open CoreFTP it displays the session window showing the session from the midday transfer, as though it had not occurred. It does this everyday.
Very confusing. Is this normal behavior and should I ignore it or is that transfer being queued and not running?
I'm not getting much info from the log and in the meantime will see if there are other logging options that I may have missed.
Like I said posting is new to me if I left out some needed info please let me know and I will update post.
Thanks for any responses

If there are sessions it usually means that a transfer failed.

If there are no transfers in the session, then you can assume it transferred correctly. If not you can set the view -> options -> policy -> "don't save sessions on exit" option (may need to "run as admin" when setting).
