I know this sounds crazy, but here goes...
I have CoreFTP Server sitting on a DMZ server. There is a .csv coming in from a vendor and being placed on this DMZ server. I can view the file and the data is solid, it is what it should be. This is where it gets weird. I then FTP this file to a network location. Once it is in the location, I can open the file and everything looks good, except in the spreadsheet, there is an added blank line. This ONLY happens after it FTPs from the DMZ server into the internal server (which has CoreFTP Pro and a site set up for the DMZ server).
I did the transfer using FileZilla and there is no issues.
To add, I changed nothing on either server and this just started happening randomly within the last 2 days. I have had this working for about 3 months now with no issues.
File transfer adding row in csv
Re: File transfer adding row in csv
It really WAS CoreFTP....
For some reason, the site was setup (be default), under advanced - SSH - "Simulate ASCII mode for SFTP" and also, "Use Putty compatible SFTP" was OFF
Turning "Simulate ASCII mode for SFTP" off and turning "Use Putty compatible SFTP" on fixed my issue. Why? I haven't a clue....
