Hi, A lot of our users are complaining that after their password change and server restart, the password returns to the old one.
We are using SFTP.
To re-create the issue.
1. I created an SFTP account with password change upon next login (-1) enabled.
2. I was able to login with the new account and prompted for a change password.
3. I was able to verify that the new password is working by re-logging the account using a client.
4. Upon restarting Core FTP service in my server, my NEW password is NO LONGER working. Logging in with the old password will accept and prompt again for a new password.
5. Will always reoccur every service/server restart.
Core FTP Server Version 2.0, build 689, 64-bit.
OS: Windows Server 2012

Re: Password change do not stick
Passwords require:
One upper case
One lower case
One number
The client may not have indicated a password change or reported it incorrectly.
