I was testing beta ver 2.3.1976 windows 64-bit install against our Linux systems using vsftpd v3.0.2-29
I cannot connect with TLSv1.1 disabled(no). Works with it tlsv1.1 enabled(yes). Also, works fine with CoreFTP v2.2 both enabled and disabled.
We have the following on the vsftpd server side:
ssl_sslv2=NO
ssl_sslv3=NO
ssl_tlsv1=NO
ssl_tlsv1=NO
ssl_tlsv1_2=YES
Windows 64-bit Client side v2.3.1976:

Re: beta 2.3.1976 and tls1.1
Try the "AUTH TLS" option instead of "AUTH SSL" and see if that makes any difference.
