Permission denied while change directory

Post by edwinleung »

I downloaded Core FTP Lite 1.3 recently for some testing. Although it is a good GUI tool, and can download and upload files successfully. However, if you try to change directory on user home directory, you will get a permission denied error message, and also can not do anything until reconnect to the server.

Does anyone have idea on the problem?

I understand what you mean but since I do not have permission to change the security on the server side, so it would be difficult for me to prove if it is the case.

However as per your suggestion, I tried to remain connected and selected the home directory from the dropdown list. The same scenario occurs, it still shows "permission denied - check permissions. Error loading directory...CWD /test"

In addition, I tried to perform a file transfer, but it failed with message shows

"permission denied - check permissionsRETR /bocitest_boci_sftp.txtCWD /"
