What are these errors?...SSL/TLS error - 0, SSL error - 5

A client of ours is using CoreFTP to connect to our FTP/s server, but is getting the below errors. Does anyone know what causes these?

I can login normally to my site with the GUI application loaded. As soon as I use the command line option solely with the -site I get the SSL error. I have tried both the windows and open ssl and same results.
