Install as a service issue?

hi guys

i want to use the server as a service - the install worked, but trying to start it results in the following message :

Could not start the Core FTP Server Service on the Local Computer
Error 193: 0xc1

any ideas?

hi

the path is ok, and its running as local system - the system account has the default full control over the program dir, plus the csrv.exe file

i get this in the event viewer (system log):
The Core FTP Server service failed to start due to the following error:
Core FTP Server is not a valid Win32 application.

the app works fine - its just the service part. could the csrv.exe be corrupt in the build that i have?
