Socket error?

I have a problem in the preliminary stages of my setup of the CoreFTP server - hope someone can help!

I've followed the instructions in the documentation to get basic functionality, and have forwarded all the ports necessary (AFAIK) through my firewall. When I start the server I get the following error:

The socket binding to local port failed.

What I can see happening on the network is people attempting to access the defined port for FTP coming through my router and tracked through my software firewall - but then it goes nowhere. It's like the FTP server is not picking up the incoming requests for some reason. Any hints?

Should I be binding to my internal or external IP?

Thanks CP - obvious oversight on my part, now that I look back at it. I'll give it another go tonight, but that should solve it.
