Hello,
first of all I have to say that Core FTP Server is a fine piece of work!
Small, no disc io when doing nothing, free, really nice!
But I have two questions:
1. Configured starting Core FTP Server as a service
When I start or shutdown my PC the PC Speaker beeps (a tone with a very high frequency) when starting/shutting down the core ftp service. Is there any way to disable that?
2. When looking under services.msc core ftp server starts itself with
csrv.exe (this leads to starting the server [coresrvr.exe] and the systray icon [crsrv.exe]) Is there any way to start the server without the systray icon, so that only one process is running?
Manually killing the csrv.exe afterwards keeps the server running and kills the systray icon - just what i want. So I thought coresrvr.exe would be the server, but starting it directly only starts the management interface.
How can I start only the server? Command line switch?
By the way: the first question is more important to me!
Thx 4 help!
