message of protocol error

Please i had this message when i try to get a file of 4giga the connection cut at 1G43 and i have this message

Anyone can help me please?

It means the server doesn't allow the type of connection being attempted.

If this is Core FTP Server this could mean a shell connection attempt instead of SFTP.
