I'm using Core FTP Server 1.0 build 170 on WinXP professional (i'm administrator).
I tried to create a simple virtual path:
Ftp root: c:\Ftp-Server
Virtual path setting:
name: in
Physical Path: D:\Incoming\
Mapped to: C:\Ftp-Server\
User Home directory: C:\Ftp-Server\ (not locked)
User permissions:
C:\ R----L--I
D:\ R----L--I

I see "in" directory, but when I try to enter it I get "< 550 Access is denied..."

Do you know what's the problem?

I'm running build222 and i seem to be having the same issue on 2003 server web edition. the same version works fine on XP.

no matter what kind of permissions i give a virtual directory at the coreftp or filesystem level, in the directory listing the virtual directory has permissions
550 / r-xr-x---

and i can't get in.. i've tried different roots, different virtuals.. all with the same effect.

any ideas?

thanks
