When I try to connect via SFTP to the server with my WSFTP Pro software,
I get the following error:
Failure to agree with SSH server on compatible algorithms

Apparently, The compression algorythms do not match. Is there any way I can disable compression on the server? I connect ok with WinSCP, but I need to make sure a Unix box can connect to it automatically. If compression cannot be disabled, it may be a problem for connecting clients...

That was it.
I disabled zlib compression in my WSFTP Pro client and all of a sudden I could get in with my client.
