Limited datatransmition ?

I use Core FTP lite and want to download a file of 7,12 GB form my Kiss-player to my PC. Doesn't work. This is the session log:

I know the connection is OK cause I succeded downloading a smaller file.
Can anyone tell me what I'm doning wrong ?

I retried it with my firewall "closed"; doesn't work either.

There should be enough space on my extrernal HD: about 80 % left.

What do you mean with "your server returning the error". I use my home-network, what's the server ? Moreover, I can upload big files to my Kiss-player through this netwerk.

If it's your home network, why use FTP? Why not just transfer the file(s) locally? Map the drives (Samba?), share them out, or something a little less resource intensive.

By "your server" CP means that CoreFTP must connect to some sort of FTP server to do anything. Your Unix/Linux machine is supplying an FTP daemon - that is the server.
