Sync Scheduling
All SYNCs are relative...
I'd rate CoreFTP's SYNCing abilities some where between a 4 and an 8 (on a 1-10 scale) depending on what you're trying to do.
If you're trying to be sure a handful of files stay up to date, then the documentation will tell you how to schedule that through the GUI. That's the high-end with a rating of 8
If you're trying to make sure a destination folder/directory has the most recent files from a large source directory, then a script scheduled in Windows scheduler works well. One could also make this bi-directional by first using Folder A as the source and B as the destination then reservnig them.
If you want files deleted from the source to also be deleted from the destination, that feature doesn't exist in CoreFTP. At least not yet. This is the low end with a rating of 4.
I use CoreFTP, via command mode script to sync several large directories . Why CoreFTP if I don't give it high marks? Because it is FTP based .AND. allows the sync to encrypt the remote files. That and as an FTP client for one off transfers, it is great. But I got it from the encription features.
