I'm using Version 1.3c build 1447.6
Core FTP LE is not displaying all my directories. I have verified with other FTP software that indeed the directories do exist.
The missing directories seem to be random. There might be 10 directories within a directory and 9 of them show. 1 is missing. Or another directories where all the sub-directories are missing.
Is there a fix for this?
Thank you.

Missing file folders on FTP site
Here's the information from my web site at Lunarpages using the command indicated above:CP wrote:I'm not aware of any outstanding issues related to this kind of problem.
Could you provide your directory information by:
Right clicking on the remote directory -> select "Directory commands" -> Directory info, and then either posting that information here or send it to support@coreftp.com.

Here's what's REALLY in that folder:

There's a LOT of missing information when you compare the two. This is just one example. There are others as well.
Thank you.

When you first log in, if you scroll through the log, what do you see after the SYST statement?
If you right click on remote directory to get the directory information as you did above, and it matches what's shown in Core FTP each time, then this would most likely be a server side problem. It's not something that can be fixed by the client.
The data being sent in the example doesn't look like it's being cut off. In rare circumstances, security software can block the amount of data transferred.
After the SYST command it says:
SYST
215 Windows_NT
Keep alive off...CWD /
250 CWD command successful.
PASV
227 Entering Passive Mode (209,200,241,137,36,206).
LIST -al
Connect socket #932 to 209.200.241.137, port 9422...125 Data connection already open; Transfer starting.
226 Transfer complete.
Transferred 501 bytes in 0.047 seconds
When I right click and choose remote directory to get the directory information it opens a notepad windows with information that agrees with what I am seeing in the remote window.
It's definitely NOT cutting information off. When I open the web_users folder the remote windows shows an empty directory. BUT my other FTP sofware shows the 3 user folders that I have created.
hmmmm....?
Bummer That didn't work. I tried all the various server choices just in case. Nothing worked.CP wrote:It might be that Core FTP isn't detecting the correct server type.
In your site profile, go to advanced -> general -> server type -> DOS/NT. Connect again, that might do it.
If not, it might be that a new format is required.
I don't know if this makes any difference or not, but it is a web site that supports ASP.NET. Would that any difference?
Thanks for all the help by the way.

I tried option 1 without success.
I tried option 2 without success.
For option 3 are you asking me to send my web site account login and password to support@coreftp.com?
Thank you for your help.

It appears the problem may have been a login error. Oddly enough I was allowed to log into the site with an incorrect login name but a correct password.
I discovered this while changing the password on my account and noticed the login name was off slightly.
Bottom line. Core FTP LE is working fine in this regard. The error was with my web site host.
