coreftp unable to install the service

hello,
coreftp server used to work properly on a windows7 box.
After modification in user management (not sure it is the reason of the issue), I was no more able to change coreftp configuration (I could change IP filtering rules, but there were no effect on the server).
Thus I uninstall/reinstall coreftp and now coreftp can be launched as an application and works properly. But as soon as I tried to launch it as a service I got the following questions:
Service does not exist, install? I accept and after that I got the following error:
Error creating the service
and then I am stuck. The server is just no more able to run as a service. If there is a way to repair this it would be very useful (eg. launching the service through a command line, cleaning the register...)
