RSA_public_decrypt failed

Hello,

The day before yesterday, we began receiving key authentication errors.

[b]RSA_public_decrypt failed: error:0407006A:rsa routines:RSA_padding_check_PKCS1_type_1:block type is not 01 key_verify failed for server_host_key Connection closed[/b]

I have re-saved they keys, had new keys issued, restarted the ftp server and even re-installed the ftp server... with no resolve. I have also tried a DSS key, with the same issue, although different message:
[b]2: key check failed Connection closed[/b].

Please note that this has been working successfully without errors for some time now. This issue is occuring from multiple clients as well, not just one.

Another client is having the same error come up with Sun's SSH client (V1.1) using OpenSSL 0.9.7d and with OpenSSH's client (V4.2p1, OpenSSL 0.9.8h). There are other people who have had this problem (WEB search), but no one could effectively pinpoint to an exact cause.

Maybe there is an issue with Open SSH (which I would assume CoreFTP server uses).

Is anyone else having this issue ?
I really need a resolve, as Core FTP server is being used for critical business use.

All the logs show from the users with public keys is:

[20081225 02:32:46] [xx.xx.xxx.x] disconnected (username)
