I am moving my CoreFTP Server from a Server 2003 box to a Server 2012 R2 box. I have been able to install the software and I have been able to add a test user. When I brought over my config.dat file (which does show all of my past user accounts) none of my old user account show up, just the test user account shows when I start CoreFTP Server.
Also, now that I have my old config.dat file I can still add new users, and they work, but they do not show up in the config.dat file. The dat file date and time does update each time I add a user, however, the contents of the file never changes.
CoreFTP Ver 1.0 Build 263...yes, it is old, but it works for our simple needs.
Thank you,

Updating my status. I have installed the current 64 bit version of CoreFTP server on my new server box (Server 2012 R2). I have been able to setup the domain and create a test user and this works.
My problem is getting all of my past user accounts to come over from the old server. I have brought over my old config.dat file from the old server. However, when I add a new test user account the account works, but it is not listed in the config.dat file. It is acting like it is using a different config.dat file located somewhere else on the server. I have looked but cannot find it.
My initial setup was all done by starting CoreFTP server 64bit using "Run as Administrator"

Ok, here is the answer. In a different folder (on the new server) I saved a copy of my old config.dat, this file still has the old servers IP address for my one and only domain.
Fired up CoreFTP Server on the new server. Under Global setting pointed to this old config.dat in the new folder. Shut down and restarted CoreFTP server and now the old IP domain shows. When I click on it there are all of my old user accounts.
Edit the domain and changed the IP to the new servers IP. Shut down CoreFTP, fired it up again, started the Run as a Service. Tested and everyone can hit the new server.
