Is there any documentation as to what FIPS mode does on the SSH/SFTP settings on a domain? Does it only allow certain ciphers and MACs?

Currently AES ciphers and sha1/sha256/sha512

Thanks. Their software was trying to use 3DES so I figured FIPS mode might be blocking that encryption.
