CORE SFTP server setup

How, looking for config recommendations for SFTP setup. I followed all docs regarding installation of CORE-SFTP server. But CORE client cannot connect to SFTP server. Client connects briefly, then disconnects. I have generated a public key on client and placed it in SFTP server subdirectory and enabled SSL\SFTP on server. No luck, any suggestions please? Thnx
