shortened directory names (with blanks) when using SSH/SFTP

Post by frax »

I am using coreftp lite 2.1 build 1596.

The ftp server is running on a Windows CE system (UNICODE !).
There are directory names like \Storage Card or \Application Date on this system.

When I use FTP these names are displayed correctly, when I use SSH/SFTP these directories are displayed as Card resp Data. To go into these directories I have to use DirectoryCommands/ChangeDirectory.

This is a problem of coreftp not of the ftp server because WinSCP displays the directory names correctly.

I am sorry, this did not help, even with build 1607.

Now it works: I have to set

Advanced -> General -> Server Type LINUX L8

The SSH/SFTP-server is an open source port (taken from codeplex). This may explain why server type is LINUX despite the system is WinCE.
