For some reason, of which I am unable to specifically duplicate, some files upon uploading will be uploaded to the virtual server's root directory rather than the expected directory (or perhaps, just one folder down).
When uploading to the main web folder which is, let's say "web", the files will upload to the server, so I think nothing is wrong. When I check the modified time on the files I've just *thought* I overwrote, they are unchanged. Instead, if I go BACK one folder, I will find the files as the following examples of index.html and test.shtml respectively (where the folder they were *supposed* to be uploaded to was "web"):
webindex.html
webtest.shtml
Somehow the information indicating the proper directory/folder has been removed. If I come across this bug again, I will try to decipher whether or not it will move everything to the server root or just ONE folder down. If there's a log file I can look at, that would probably help out too. Also, where's the dumpfile located? CoreFTP crashed the other day and I thought it would default in C:\Program Files\CoreFTP\... ((edit, I found the option for the logfile and turned it on))

Error in Upload
Permissions have been a constant problem on this server due to our server administrator. I'm extremely tempted to take his work away from him. Either way, I do have proper permissions now (as far as I can tell) so if I see the error again, I'll let you know, if not we'll assume that was the problem for now...although some files DID in fact upload to the folder properly whereas some did not -- again, perhaps it was direct file ownership permissions in that case...I've also overwrote almost all the files on this webserver now with some messing with sudo and other things, so hopefully this will not occur.
As far as the coredump.log file, none was ever created. That was the directory I looked in. Perhaps it's only created when it realizes something went wrong and not when Windows forces it closed (CoreFTP has caused a .... error/fault in.....and needs to close).
Oh, sorry. v1.3c Build 1433
