Delete Directory Bug

Post by Genius45 »

This has been a bug for a while, and its still a bug in current version, 1.3c Build 1437. When deleting a directory with no filters, or filters disabled, the directory deletes fine. But when trying to delete a directory with filter's enabled, and one or more item in the directory is filtered, it doesn't delete the directory with the error "Directory Not Empty", because it Isn't empty.

To me it doesn't make sense having to disable the filter, delete the directory, then renable the filter. I can't seem to have it remember to use the filter only on one side (I'm not sure if its a bug or just me), but It would be nice to have a "Ignore Filter when deleting directories" as an option.

HELP

Post by Rajah »

I did download the newest release 1.3c build 1447.4 and I still cannot delete the files I wanted.
I tried everything (?) with filters but without any result.
Right mouse > Filter Off is checked
Manage filters > there is nothing in the Include and Exclude fields
AT the right side of the Filters button there is only *

The only rare thing I see is that the concerned files have not the Microsoft website file sign with the blue dot on the file map. It seems an ordinary filemap.

Please can anyone explain to me how to handle?

TIA

Frans
