Using CoreFTP's browser integration

Post by atperez »

Greetings.

I just downloaded CoreFTP and could get the GUI working.

None of the computers at my network (except the server) can download ftp files via IE, because the proxy (AnalogX) expects I do this using a FTP client. The proxy documentation says:

"In order to use the FTP portion of AnalogX Proxy, you must use a dedicated FTP program, and you MUST configure it to use a proxy/Firewall."

I'd like to use CoreFTP's browser integration. When I click on a link to a ftp file, CoreFTP asks: Transfer file(s) with Core FTP? The possible answers are: Yes, Always, No, Save As, View/Exec, Edit, Cancel. No matter what I answer, what I see is a box with the words

Current
Source:
Dest:
---
Connecting
---

The this box closes. But the file is not saved in my computer. The program doesn't ask me where to save the file, neither.

As I said above, the GUI works well, but I can't download files with Internet Explorer using Core FTP's browser integration.

I'll appreciate your suggestions to get browser integration successfully working.

Thanks a lot.
